I just wanted to thank you for all you do for all of us who suffer from Autoimmune Disease. I appreciate you and all that you go through yourself. I am the youngest of three girls. My oldest sister has Hoshimotos Disease, middle sister has MS and I have RA. I have a son, 23 years old now who has been told he has a rare disease called Hyper IgE Syndrome, then told no but is battling Pancreas issues, asthma, eczema and also low Thyroid. He feels sick all the time. I have a daughter who had Childhood Epilepsy from age one to age 12 and is now dealing with autoimmune symptoms, not diagnosed, but ANA has come back high three times. Im not going to lie… it’s been heart breaking. I can deal with myself, but to see my kids go through pain and feeling sick is so very difficult! Autoimmune attacks the entire family. It attacks us financially, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I feel it has also made me a stronger more aware person and I chose to talk about my disease to help raise awareness. So many hide it, they are in denial, but I feel that sharing, talking and meeting others and showing them support and the power of positive thinking can truly help us through our difficult days. So again, I say thank you for all you do. You are helping my family and I can’t thank you enough. God Bless you and I will keep you and your health in my prayers.
